Hey! I'm GM Savannah (she/they). Originally from Syracuse, NY I moved to Houston during the pandemic for a change of scenery and to be with my then girlfriend/now future wife. Moving to Houston has opened so many doors for me and connected me with the incredible people here at Polyhedra. Like a lot of people, I started to seriously look into playing D&D virtually during the pandemic. I have always loved the game and have often found myself in the role of GM more than that of a player. My brother was a staple at the table that I ran, until he found Polyhedra and joined a game where he then introduced me to David. The rest, they say, is history. As a forever GM, with no real player experience, I took to the internet to find examples of how I should run my game. I was relatively new to D&D when I first started GMing, my first experience playing was as a Dwarf Fighter for a 3 month campaign a decade ago. So picking up GMing was a daunting process. Luckily, I found some incredible examples to guide me as I attempted to figure out my GM style - big thank you to Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan. When I'm not prepping for a session or spending an obscene amount of money on dice, I love to spend my time playing video games (PC player right here) and will sometimes stream if my schedule permits. I'm a massive Trekkie, and constantly have an episode playing in the background while I go about my day. I will talk your ear off when it comes to Star Trek! I also enjoy cooking massive meals for friends and family, and love any form of sport or activity as long as I get to play.
