The Eldritch Hunt

As the moon climbs its way high into the sky over the city of Marisport, pedestrians who still find themselves out in the streets pick up their pace as they avoid making eye contact with the looming celestial body. Minutes go by and for each one so does the moonlight's presence in the firmament increase, its eerie glow bearing down on those who have not yet found shelter. The clock then strikes midnight, it’s twelve chimes heralding the horrors hidden by the celestial light above. A man falls catatonic to the floor, a woman begins mumbling incoherently as she holds for deal life to a streetlight, paranoia and distrust begins to break out amongst those who bask in the moon rays as beings from the far reaches of space & sanity come out and play.
